Saw a few posters around for a gig there next Friday... I think subhumans are playing... anyone know who else is on? I'm thinking about going along.

Fibbers, do they still ban anyone with a mohawk or pole spikes? I remember Steve Ignorant playing there, he had the decency to walk off stage and tell them to f off when it became obvious that no punk was getting in!

i hope theres no accusations of 'trolling' in the punk thread guys, would defy the means. whats the point of this trashy 'free speech' western world if timid geeks at PC's take things personal and shoot an 'off topic' accusation crying wolf. probs never had a row in their lives.
f'n yes men. god bless dunphy

was at the cork show, had to spend a few days down there didn't realize the venue was so out of the way - great set though. didn't really get the new material but the classics are just that - got a bit ill about 75% in, had to find a quiet place to lie down. should have taken note of the Culture Shock song Circles..

.. back on topic, who remembers the Fibbers bouncer what looked like Chesney Hawkes? pulled a kosh on me in the rear alley one time, swinging it like Bruce Lee. f'n hilarious
