Bringing Irish car over to Wales...

    Hey there,

I'm heading over to Wales this week and my girlfriend is moving over with me. She has about 45 days insurance cover over in the UK but how can she register her car over there?

I'm probably not wording this right but whats the process to have your car legally able to drive on Welsh roads for the next 3 - 4 years?

    Thanks :)

Go and have a look here, basically the same as importing into here from UK...

    http://www.dft.gov.uk/dvla/forms.aspx..

And Click on this,.....Form INF38, which is half way down the page..

Would it be cheaper to sell her car in Ireland and buy an equivalent one in the UK.
