I was wondering if anyone on here uses project 64 to play old n64 games i found out about it randomly and have to say i got a bit misty eyed while playing a few of my old favourites i might only be 17 but the first console i had was a 64 and i spent a lot of time playing i. I think this is a great idea anybody else using it out there??

Used to use both Project64 and UltraHLE back in the day, but now I use an actual N64 and the original carts for my Ninty kicks.
The console is fairly common so picking one up with a couple of classics shouldn't be too hard really.

Been using it since it first appeared. Haven't really got near another N64 Emulator. Does the job nicely.

Yep, I use Project64 de temps en temps (I also like to include French phrases every now and again). Its a good emulator, but definitely pick up an actual N64 if you can :)

Online is the only place really. Maybe at a car boot sale if your lucky, or if your in the UK. I'd go with ebay.

Yeah as mentioned on here a few times, they're very common at carboot sales, pawn shops and anywhere you get second hand electronics.

I used Project64 for my N64 ROMS but it was a bit slow (but I think that was due to it being an earlier version of it [Project 64]). I just moved to the UK and there's a 'Retro' shop that regularly gets old consoles in. At the moment, they're got a SNES for £19.99, an N64 for around £20, a GameBoy Color, XBox (£22.99), XBox-360, Mega Drive; and tonnes of games. Each day I walk past that shop, I'm tempted by the N64 and XBox.

Yeah Project 64 is a good emulator in my opinion. The trouble is just in getting the controller you're using on your computer to feel N64 like. Those pesky C buttons.......
