cool laser effect

    what I did was, while in a dark room, I mounted the camera on a tripod and set a very long exposure. Shone the laser on the wall and they appear like lines.

    The lines have poor focus tho; not sure how to correct that

    just a standard laser pointer. I tried to create the same image using a torch but didn't get the same effect.

    Yeah its a cool effect,havent tryed it in a long time as my laser was taken off me at airport. You could try some cool drawings!

    Thought lasers shined into sensors weren't good for them?

    I haven't a clue, but i say it can't be good. In my shot the lazer was kept well away from being pointed at the lens

    I've been meaning to get one of those, not for effects but to point at something in near pitch black and manual focus for a long exposure. Any reccommendations on these?
