Ive been swimming all summer in Terenure college, but now they have changed to the winter timetable and the only times open to me are the late sessions (9/9.45). Id prefer something a bit more flexible. Is the Carlisle pool any good ?, is it busy ? lanes ?

Sometimes it depends on what time you go down at really. I find in the evenings the pool isn't that busy....Its a nice pool...Are you a casual swimmer or club swimmer...? There is 3 lanes with pool split in half with, then other half is just for casual swimming

casual swimmer or maybe I should say improver- just got back swimming this summer after 10 or so years. My aim is to be able to swim maybe 40/50 lengths (front crawl) in a 45 min session. I want to keep going during the winter and lanes seems to be the best way - once there is a slow lane :pac:
