I was onto Forbidden Planet today and unfortunately they told me that Red Rain is out of print, they said that my best bet would be to find a second hand copy. Anyone know where I could possibly get my hands on it? Are there any comic stores around Dublin known for having second hand comics/graphic novels?

Story (Purple on map), Crow Street, Dublin 2, does back issues and second hand comics/graphic novels. Otherwise try online - appears to be a far few copies on ebay.

I think you can get them on ebay but probably not very cheap. In my opinion, ebay is a fine resource for getting second hand or out of print comics. There are also some online shops that have reasonable prices.

Red Rain is also available as part of a TPB called Batman Vampire, which collects all the stories in that arc into one TPB.

Yup one of the lads in Forbidden Planet told me that today. He reckons that might be hard to get too but he'll see if he can get it.

It was reprinted sometime around when the Countdown weekly series was running, because they used the "searching the multiverse for ray palmer" thing as an excuse to send a group of heroes to a bunch of worlds based heavily on Elseworlds stories. The details on the specific collection are here, and I'd be kind of surprised if it were hard to get your hands on the newer collection. For instance, Amazon have it for £7.78...

Hmmm...so the common concensus is that I should buy it online. I must see if my brother is willing to have a graphic novel on his credit card bill. :pac:
