    hi,

i have been on JSB since been laid off in february, when i had been living at home with my parents, but recently have moved into a new house with my partner (not married).

should i call the social welfare and tell them about my change of circumstances?
    will this affect my payments?
will my partner be means tested?
will it make any difference at all?
if i dont tell them will there be reprecusions down the line?

    thanks....

You know the answer to this yourself, you must tell them. Afaik your partner's income will be taken into account, it doesn't matter that your not married. It may affect your payments, and yes if you do not tell there may be reprecusions down the line. Not telling them is fraud, not to mention that you could be caught out by a welfare inspector random check.

As far as Im aware your partners income wont be taken into account if your on JSB if your on JSA then ya you'll have to tell them,I could be wrong though.

Sorry I misread the original, Sephiroth is right I think for JSB, I would still tell them though.

Ya you'll still need to tell them so if they send you any letter you'll get them at your new address.
