Adjusting saddle tilt

    Hey all,

    A real newbie question but...

When I loosen the bolt at the back (just have one bolt at the back) of the saddle/seatpost I can adjust the aft and fore no problems however I can't set the tilt.

I notice another bolty screwy thing (sorry for getting technical) underneath the saddle. This get's looser as I loosen the bolt at the back. Is that for adjusting the tilt?

Also the front part of my saddle; the pointy bit, isn't perfectly aligned with the cross-bar so it's points out slightly right. Is that a big deal!

Stick up a picture of the seatpost and I'll tell you.

Loosen your seat clamp and straighten it.

Depending on how long the saddle has been there, it could be a bit stuck. I was doing a job a while back myself and thought I was missing something till I gave it a bit of 'heavy encouragement' and bob was my uncle!

It could be the sort of arrangement where you loosen the front bolt and tighten the back bolt to get the nose of the saddle to rise and vice versa.
