COD WAW - Zombie "Der Riese" Tips

1. Level 1, use your pistol on the zomibes 5 rounds into the chest area then stab them for maximum points.
2. Lvl 2, buy the single bolt rifle next to the stairwell that goes down. Shot once with the bolt rilfe then stab twice for maximum points.
3. Repeat til level 4, at which point the team should make it to the power generator and bridge area.
4. Only open doors that we need to there's no point in opening all the doors = loads more zombies.
5. Boxes:
6. When using boxes for weapons DON'T repeatedly try for a weapon = you'll get ****e ones. You need to alternate your tries with other players. Each player should have 1-2 goes to try to get a good power up weapon (basically dont be a box hog). In a team of four you can only have 1 wondervaffel and 3 monkey bombers so dont waste points on trying to get them! Also if you have a ray gun and wondervaffel you can only upgrade one of them!
7. dont unlock the factory door at the power station until level 10, at this point we should have all the teleporters linked. And be able to upg with the pack a punch machine.
8. The best weapons to have, Machine guns, ray gun and vodervaffel (Waffel)...
9. When we're up on the balcony here's the best tactic (ammo is always an issue...
10. 2 in front kneeling (preferably guys with machine guns) & 2 at back standing- alternate between the front two and back two firing. This will conserve ammo. Only after lvl 20 should al 4 players fire at the same time.
11. Place betties down near the magic box and at our feet, if we get overrun move back and we'll get cover. Remember to palce betties after each round and we get max ammo.
12. 1 of the guys at the back should act as a spotter, look out for how many zombies are coming. NEVER shoot anyone outside only ever kill on the ledge/stairwell.
13. When we get full Ammo, make sure everyone is reloaded on both guns 1st then get it. Using Monkey bombs to get max ammo is always a good idea. Only the front 2 guys should be getting ammo.
14. the look out needs to warn us when we're down to our last Zombie, if he's not a crawler we can choose one guy to be chased while the other 3 run off to get upgrades.
15. When there's tons of zombies, throw a monkey bomb down stairs and use the wondervaffle to kill as many as possible in one shot.
16. Colas: Juggernog, fast reload and quick revive are the only ones you need. Double tap is a waste of money since all of our weapons will be autos.
17. Ammo: When we're stuck for ammo, we can get ammo by teleporting to the main area (where we start). When you teleport a perk will show up in the middle, we can get **** here. Also the hammer is sweet, when you use the hammer on an open window all open windows will be rebuilt. Whoever has the hammer gets most points but each player will get 200 points per window too. Be warned, after a while hell hounds will appear after you teleport, you need to be ready for them so kill them off 1st before uprading your weapon. THey come in 2's 4's and 6's increasing every time you teleport. Eventually you wont get any more max ammo, but you still need to try as they do happen (one guy did it 14 times til he go ammo).
18. What to have:
    Upgraded Wunderwaffe DG-2.
19. Upgraded Ray Gun.
20. A good upgraded back up gun (ex. MG42, Browning M1919, PPSh-41).
21. Jugger-nog, Speed cola and Quick revive.
22. Bouncing Betties.
23. Monkey bombs

If you have 4 guys with this tactic you'll reach lvl 30 and above. You just need to ensure your team are working together. After lvl 20 one slip up, one muppet getting greedy for a perk and miss spent "Max Ammo" and you're doomed.

UPDATE:
On Level 1&2 to get more points aim at the Zombies legs instead of chest and you can fire off 7-8 rounds for more points.

On any level if you're looking for a crawler or last zombie... check the windows, if you have the final Zombie stuck behind a window all you need to do is keep rebuilding the window to keep him locked out. that way all your team mates can level up, get weapons and perks. They will need to relieve you from the window so you can do the same.

Good thing is this tactic gives you about 500 points for each time you rebuild a board.

Also on step 12. What to have upgraded! This may sound stupid but we think the best weapon to have upgraded is the M1 Garand with grenade launcher. It gives you 40 grenades and reload every 3 shots. Its a beast! All you do is stand behind the 2 gunners shooting in front and aim down where the stairs begin. It takes out up to 10 zombies per shot on higher levels. Does anyone know what happens when you upgrade the flamethrower? Its crap i know but just curious! Add me if you play der riese! PSN below!

Interesting, is the upgraded M1 Nade Launcher any use at level 25+?? I agree its a great weapon and one of my favs. That said I duno how it hold up against an absolute rake of Zombies. Which is why I usually go for a big ass machine gun = shreds them down easily.

The flame thrower is useless when its upgraded.

Havent been that far so i wouldnt know if the grenade launcher is any use 25+. But from what ive seen if done correctly the people shooting machine guns etc deal with a whole lot less as most of them die or turn into crawlers at the bottom before they get up so having the grenade launcher(upgraded) is handy believe it or not. It worked till 20 anyway then someone left and we couldnt continue.

Got to lvl 26 last night with just 3 of us by doing the above tactic. One dropped out leaving us to 3 and dealing with a rake of zombies that should've been for 4 people.

We had the following upgraded weapons....
1: Ray guns x3 (I know 3 wow never seen that b4)
2: Heavy machine guns x2 scorpions x1 Barrett
3: x2 people with Monkey bombs
4: x2 people with Betties for last line of defense.

to conserve ammo, 2 stood at the back lining up headshots in short bursts (never full auto) this tore down the zombies easily. While one stayed kneeling down with the ray gun in case one got by or the two gunners were reloading.

Word to the wise, dont use the max ammo teleport strategy until you're at 23+. We got screwed with ammo at lvl 26 spent ages trying to teleport in and out to get it with no joy. We had loads of money and accidently killed the last crawler leaving us wide open to the Zombie horde.

IF we had of had an extra ammo we would've got to 30 i'd say!

i dont play that much anymore because my internet is gone really bad during the night and its perfect during the day. I rang eircom and they said they couldnt see the problem????

FYI: Some of you may know this already but i just found out the other day through playing, that if people leave during a game of say 4 ppl which turn into 2, it counts as 2 difficulty not 4. Cause i noticed that it wasnt getting too hard even at levels like 25/26 with 2 people.

aye this is true.

Also noticed the more you hog the magic box the more crap weapons you get. So dont be a box hog!

Also here's the gun Glitch steps for ya (gives you tons of guns)

Make sure you have 5k+ saved up go to the box with a buddy Get your buddy to sit at the edge of said box, they need to take out a nade (dont throw it) and hold it til it explodes once your buddy is down, open the box from the other edge of the box DONT LOOK AT THE BOX Move forward til you can revive your buddy Mid way through revival your weapon is ready for selection hit square quickly seclecting the weapon and reviving your buddy (dont revive him fully) Then repeat the process til you have no money left and you'll be stack full of sexy guns

I start off like this, only knife on lvl 1, open whichever door you prefer, only knife on lvl 2, open the next door on the same side, about 15 colt bullets into each zombie on lvl 3 and finish each one off with a knife stab, then u can buy a tranch gun or tommy depending on which side you opened

interestin but you're missing out on a heap of points.

1 lvl, 6 rounds into the leg followed by a stab = more points
2 lvl, 10-12 rounds into the leg followed by a stab = points
3 lvl, open side door, 2 clips into the leg followed by a stab = even more points
4 lvl (max ammo), 2-3 clips into the leg followed by a stab = Most points your get with this.

By doing this the most points i've gotten by lvl 4 is 6000. If everyone on your squad has 4-6000 points you can open up to the bridge switch on the power and get tons of sexy weapons and even get a 2nd box before round 5.

I actually don't own the game or even have a ps3 but i play it on my m8s 360 from time to time, but will add you when i get a ps3, managed to get to lvl 43 using the teleporter strategy last night tho so i definately think thats the best tactic to use.
