HARD HOUSE/OLD SKOOL SOUNCLASH!

Devotion and Rejuvenation join forces to bring you a tanatalizing Old Skool and Hard House soundclash! The Vaults is going to be rocked to its very foundations as classic Devotion and Rejuvenation line-ups combine for the first time.

Headlining is Devotion favourite STEVE THOMAS. This is a man who really needs no introduction to hard house fans who will recognise him as one of the scene's true pioneers and a member of the classic Trade line-up that was so influential in shaping the hard house scene. Since playing at the opening night 4 years ago, Steve has become a firm Devotion favourite and returns yearly to rock the birthday parties. On the night, he will be playing a very special TRADE AND HARD HOUSE CLASSICS set. Joining him will be Devotion regulars JAMES DEVLIN & DARA LONG as well as Revolution's SCORCHIO who'll all be treating you to CLASSIC HARD HOUSE sets in true Devotion style. You know how we do it so expect only the finest tracks from the early days of hard house as we look beyond the obvious and dig out the purest hidden gems.

Old skool supremos Rejuvenation take over the second room with a line-up that includes some firm favourites as well as some new faces. DARAGH KELLY & KEN GARDINER headline and with a wealth of experience behind them they are sure to deliver exactly what the old skool fans of Dublin want to hear. Joining them will be Rejuvenation favourite DARANOID, Flashback's MARK FITZPATRICK and newcomer CHRIS LYONS. As ever with Rejuvenation, the musical agenda will be all your favourite classic anthems as well as the rarest of underground anthems.

Steve Thomas is one of the original innovators of hard house and has one of the most glittering CVs in the business. He is a Trade legend, and one of the founders and resident DJs of the Fish/ Superfish club-night. His UK guest spots have included Cream, Sundissential, Vague, Bugjam and Ministry of Sound, and he has regularly played out in Europe, Japan, South Africa and Canada and the US (at Twilo in New York).

Steve developed the hugely successful Tripoli Trax, and has released numerous tracks on this label (under his own name and in various guises: The Experts, Fruitloop and NOK) as well as on Tinrib Recordings. He specializes in a hard, driving, groovy, pumping techno-influenced sound, as in his classic tracks ‘The Leader’ and ‘Get Down’ (both with Captain Tinrib)

Steve's musical style is based around house, and his tough tech-house sound. But what puts him ahead musically is his intuition and skill at putting unlikely tracks together. He is a complete perfectionist but is unafraid to experiment and for the past four years has been voted into the DJ Mag Top 100 DJ's.
