no point in remapping a petrol E46 that uses OBDII, very tiny gains to be achieved by all accounts.

I see on that linky there that it would take mine from a 150bhp to 166 can't really see the point of this..?

Nope there is no point. Remapping is only good on cars with turbo charged engines. Yours is not turbo charged.
