    Iv no accomodation yet,I have my name ont eh waiting list for corrib .I only decided to go about 2 weeks agao when i realised i got my points and i should go this year.Iv got two other sisters in college at the minute,one gone to london so the parents arnt too helpful with trying to get me go this year but i am.Im comuting for the first few days at least,Im doing arts so i wont be under too much stress as i heard its not too long a day and the time table is like a part time course.Does anyone know how long i could be waiting on a place at corrib because im afraid i will miss all the craic at the start...thanks!

    I wouldnt hold out for corrib... there is other places availible though that you could give a look. I had a place in corrib but went elsewhere in the end after i heard some horror stories. Id say find somewhere else and you can stil go to all the parties in corrib but leave all the mess behind, rather than sleep in it! It would also mean you wont have to commute for the start. Just a thought......

    Thanks a million,il look into that..The only thing i wouldnt like about other accomodation would be If i was with some older student who wudnt be my age and id rather we with first years,Suppose beggers cant eb choosers

    No probs. Im headin into 1st year too. Goin to dunaras, there 99% first years there i think.... giv it a look, they might hav a few places left!

    Im not with any students cuz my accommodation plans we're pretty last minute too! :confused: only 2 minute walk from both the campus and the city centre though! oh well.......i just have to raid corrib's social scene instead!:pac:

    try everywhere! Im staying in Amhra house and its a deadly location!
    there is first years there too, well, i know 2 others but sure we havnt even moved in yet so im likely to meet more :pac: Id say just get anywhere you can, its just somewhere to sleep, you can go to the parties anywhere then!
