    as per email received
As the summer is drawing to a close how about riding the IVCA's
Tour of West Wicklow. A 100K spin from the National Basketball Arena
in Tallaght, Tymon Park, Tallaght, D24, starting at 9.00am on
    Sunday next 13th September.

The route is; from the NBA along the N81,
Saggart, Rathcoole, Punchestown to the tea stop in Dunlavin Co. Wicklow.
Return through Ballymore Eustace, Blessington to the Basketball Arena.

The "tea Stop" is just that, tea and maybe a biscuit, so bring
    something with you.
Entry fee is just €10.00 and all proceeds go to the
    Missing Persons Ireland fund. www.missingpersons.ie

Entry is payable at the start on Sunday.

There's no cake and for that reason I'm out.

Maybe a biscuit Jez we are not worthy ..... cherish the thought of getting a dippy for our tea...

Dare I ask..... could the organisation not delve into the Wicklow 200 kitty for some cake..??????

Actually you know what ,on reflection for that reason Im out....

It's a tenner and that goes to charity. And it's only 100km. Jesus people.

    +1. True.

I find it one of the more honest emails that I have recd on these matters.
I reckn if they were as honest about the WW200, then there would be very few disgruntled people.

Did I forget the smilie again? I always bring my own refreshments anyway, but would it kill them to guarantee biscuits (instead of "maybe a biscuit") and a few bars and maybe a bit of brack. I'd gladly pay an extra fiver.

I won't be doing this anyway (taking a rest), but don't let my previous post put anyone off. Just email the IVCA and let them know how mean you think they are that you want cake. I'll be sending the charity a few shillin's instead.
