Is Premium level in croke park worth the money, Is the atmosphere good there, would you be spending a good bit of money up there ie Food,Drinks Etc

Was in Croke Park for a number of Rugby Matches and the atmosphere is fairly average. The 2008 Six Nations Game against Italy was like a Funeral lol

I have been in the Premium level for many Gaelic games and it does lack the athmosphere you would get in the lower tiers (although the view is top class). You would tend to spend about as much there as in other areas for food/drink.
I can imagine the athmosphere at the rugby to be even worse than the football. Was there for a soccer international and it mood was dire even though we won.
A good tip is to get lower tier seats for the Cusack. At the very back of the lower tier there is a bar and food available with seating for dyning, just the same as the premium. I think its only in sections 301, 302 and 303,(hill 16 end of the ground) but you can just walk there from other areas in the stand.

Generally, the atmosphere of non-GAA matches in Croker is absolutely woeful, so if you are using it for Rugby then save your money.

Best place for rugby in Croker is the hill.
Then again I always prefered the east terrace in lansdowne, still gutted there'll be no terrace as can't beat the atmosphere of a terrace !

How much are these Premium level tickets and why would someone buy one rather than a cheaper seat around the stadium?

What exactly besides a good view do you get for your cash?

Do you still have to buy alcohol or does the ticket include a certain amount of drinks/food?

Was the Munster v Leinster Atmosphere in Croker that bad?

What about the first Ireland / England Game?

I am going to see a rugby match in croker for the first time for the aus and SA games. Was hoping for a good atmosphere.

Well one half enjoyed it but the Munster crowd were very muted from early on. Probably because there was little for us to shout about. Felt it was very staged anyway with the flags and the crowd mixed up in sections plus the Mc telling us what to do YUK
I've seen a couple of internationals in Croker (Eng this year - dire match and Scotland last year). The pitch is way to far away from the crowd especially behind the goal lines. Really only for the big screen you wouldn't have a clue whats going on at times. Give me Thomond park, Musgrave, RDS or Cardiff any day.
