Bottle dyed blondes all over Ireland will be up in arms when somebody reads them newspaper reports that Eamon Ryan TD, Minister for Communications, Energy and Natural Resources has announced the doubling of VAT on all blonde hair products.

The Minister by way of explanation said "for far too long the enviromental damage caused by Irish women trying to keep up with thinner and prettier east Europeans has gone unpunished" he when pressed also admitted that "the Vintners Federation of Ireland has expressed their delight as Irish men will as a result of this measure, return in droves to their locals in an attempt to cope with the shock of Irish women returning to their 'natural' hair colour".

Economists expect that if only half of all 'naturally blonde' Irish women continue to the use these hair products, the revenue generated will pay for NAMA by the end of this financial year.

Notice how they're trying to blind the typical buyer with enviromental science words. I think the word "double" could have confused them on its own.

Is this for real? It's hard to tell on here sometimes. Why not double Vat on all hair dyes then though? This country is a joke.

Not true. I've seen some plain Jane brunettes look a million times better with blonde hair.
