CAn someone tell me how to reload the ipod software onto my ipod. I have a new 12ogb black ipod classic. Sometimes if i want to change a song or whatever it freezes on the apple logo and then after about half a minute it goes back to the menu. I have contacted apple and they have sent out a return envelope but i was hoping…

I have contacted apple and they have sent out a return envelope but i was hoping i could reload the software first and see what happens?

Anyone point me in the right direction??

Plug your iPod into your computer and in iTunes, select your device in the list on the left and click the restore button in the main window. Remember that this will wipe all your media, so back your stuff up first !

cheers guys.

As for backing up my media its all on the macbook so thats not an issue but i do however have a small addiction to the game vortex and was wondering where/how i could save this and reload it onto the ipod.
