took a scan through the forum, couldn't find anything on this.
I have the elite xbox with 120gb memory. i'm able to install games to the hard drive to play them without needing the disc. i've borrowed games off friends, installed them and can now happily play them without owning a copy of the game.

whats the legality of this? surely piracy is the first thing MS would think of when they made it possible?
and if its all fine and good, can we get a bit of a game swap thing going on?

I own about 20 plus games, and even with them installed, they will not run without the disc. It pops up telling me disc required. Don't know what games you're playing/installing or is your 360 chipped. That would explain it.

Well done, I can only play installed games with the disc in. If you haven't hacked your console then like I said, well done for getting a lucky unit.

you need the disk to run for afew seconds at the start and then its stops, then you can play the game
