Anybody else see the ad for this new RTE 'Comedy'? :o That annoying arsehole 'Baz' also has a new 'wacky' show. Pathetic.

Have RTE ever made a good comedy?

    NO THEY DIDN'T

IT WAS NEVER OFFERED TO THEM

It drives me MENTAL when people say this.
    (Sorry Tom, pent up frustration)

Yeah I just saw the ad OP, looks like typical RTÉ fare, absolute toss

Its made by the same people who made Dan and Becks, which was actualy quite good, so it could be alright.

I always wondered where the rumour started, so many people believe it!

RTE is a steamping pile of shíte. Tv3 is unbelievably tacky. Of the four "poverty channels" only TG4 is worth its salt.

RTE might be onto a winner if they take on Hardy Bucks. As long as they don't try to interfere with its making in any way, shape or form.

I could just imagine them sticking Ryan fcuking Tubridy in as a new character.

And they very kindly have English sub-titles for people like me who couldn't be arsed learning the language of our forefathers.:P

Dan and Becks is exactly the type of shíte I'm talking about. Good idea, badly done.

Its quality comedy. Just started watching it last night. So long as RTE have no say whatsoever in the making of the programme it would be okay.

I bet it won't be nearly as good as Upwardly Mobile a.k.a. the funniest sit com the world has ever seen.

Anyway TV talk goes in the TV forum: http://www.boards.ie/vbulletin/forumdisplay.php?f=566

Just be aware if you want to talk about how fucking shit RT fucking E's attempts at comedy are, you'll have to tone down the cunting language a little as swearing is not allowed there.

    Thanks.
