    Hey,

I just bought an Iomega Screenpaly media player two months ago(€179.99) and everything was working fine until yesterday when the computer wasnt recognising it,it still works connected to tv no bother. The computer makes that familar sound when you insert the hardware and the little icon with the green arrow is in the system tray but when i was clicking on my computer it wasnt showing the media drive(G),i tried changeing the transfer cable and trying on a different laptop with no luck.
The computer was freezing almost all the time as soon as the media player was turned on and the computer worked fine as soon as the media player was turned off.I tried maybe fifty times and when the computer didnt freeze i went to the website and found a "fix" which involved right clicking on my computer=>manage=>storage=>disc management=>right clicking on G=>change drive letter and paths, which i changed to T and restarted.

Now when i go to my computer i see the drive T(it should also say iomega screenplay under it and it doesnt)but i cant get into it,it says"The request could not be performed because of an I/O error"

I bought the 3 year warranty but Iomega have this stupid thing where if you want to call them they charge €20 even though i payed €30 for the extented warranty-instead they do this one on one instant messenger type thing from which i was told the will not be able to save my data. The interesting thing is my pc got infected with "total security 5.12" malware just 2 weeks ago which is 99% gone but i dont know if this could be the cause.

    Any ideas

    Thanks
