clear braces v's metal one + price rates up north!

Im 30 yrs of age and have just decided to go ahead and get braces. My teethe are not that bad but the front one is a bit turned out. Aan could get worse in later years if i dont fix it now. My question is has anyone got the clear braces as apposed to the metal ones. the clear ones are €500 dearer but if there less noticable and worth it then i may get them.
Secondly has anyone got it done up North and where and how much?? Where im booked to get it done cost €3750!
