    Hi all!
im sure you get loads of 17year olds asking millions of questions about insurance and the likes
    well im one of them!
im trying to get insured on my mam's opel astra most quotes i got were over the 2,000 mark so thats out of the question!
so a few of my friends are looking at the hibernian deal were you buy ten lessons for €300 and they will offer you 6 months free car insurance for an added on larner driver?
can anybody shed any light on this
it seems to good to be true!
    i also have to ask...
will i have to have my provisional to apply for this offer
and have many of you tried the deal?
    thanks a million
    really appriciate it:D
    Eoin!

Why not ring Hibernian for the details?

The way I see it, they will simply half the premium originally quoted if you go through the driving lessons with them. So say for example you are quoted 2000. You can then opt to pay 300 for lessons & 1000 premium resulting in a 700 saving however I feel it might be possible to just shop around and get a better deal without any of this.

No I got this offer. It's 380E for 11 lessons (10 with 1 free) and 6 months insurance. Although the insurance starts when you take your first lessons.

Jeez ya I had a read through it there, sounds good for first time drivers. Nothing like this when I was 17 and wanting to get on the parents 2.0 audi 100 which the insurers always liked to call a 'performance car'
