Anyone know what is the best organisation to organise this through? I am looking for an organisation where by you can do your teaching English course and they will also place you? I think that is how it works anyway? As you can see im pretty clueless as to how to arrange this so any info would be helpful!

Also i believe Korea is the best place to earn a decent wage, no?

    Hi

I'm in Korea at the minute. We did the tefl course with i-to-i and I know that if you do a course for a certain number of hours they will set you up with a placement. We just got our jobs through friends here though.

Just to let you know you don't need to have a tefl course to teach here -only a degree. I didn't really find the tefl to be helpful with my job.

Also the money isn't as great as it used to be (stupid exchange rate ). After tax and utility bills (the boss takes out of our wages) we make less than €1000 per month. Saying that the cost of living here is pretty cheap. For two people we onl spend approx €150 per week. Also rent is free which is a big plus.

    Hey,

Tiger English is pretty good. You just upload your CV and wait. I had an interview within 2 days and got offered the job straight away. You dont need TEFL and you would actually be waisting your money if you did it.

The whole process can take up to 12 weeks to organise so while you are waiting to hear from employers you should get all your documentation together!! I signed my contract in December last year and was here in February.

The only thing that I will say to you that is important, get a job in Seoul!!! I work an hour away and the commute every weekend drives me crazy!! So get a position as close to Seoul as possible and you wil be laughing!!

    Hiya,

Agree with tannytantans that i-to-i's a good one to check out - I also did a TEFL course with them and they helped me find my job in China. Always seemed pretty straightforward.

    Good luck!
