I'm thinking of getting one of these http://www.chainreactioncycles.com/Models.aspx?ModelID=41436, I normally use 172.5, and they only have 170 or 175 in stock, which would be best for me to get, my inseam for saddle height is 82cm

Get a 170 for the left (non-drive side) and a 175 for the right (drive side). They'll average out at 172.5.

was kinda hoping for a serious reply, but, guess you are right, now to get my left ankle removed so it fits.

FWIW I picked up the Team chainset in 175mm, normally riding 172.5mm on my road bikes but 175mm on MTB. Given this I'm not expecting any problems as regards knee problems etc. Just make sure to adjust your saddle accordingly to take into account of the change (2.5mm - not a lot but better safe than injured).

Just make sure you're getting the right one - what you've linked is ISIS bottom bracket which has been morealess replaced my external BBs (which are a doddle to fit)
