I want to book a table in a bar in the city centre for around 20 people on Saturday night, but don't really know where. Does anyone have any suggestions on where might be good and how much, if anything, I should expect to pay to reserve a table?

do you have a place in mind - its just a bar ... phone them up and ask if they can cordon off an area for you (approx 30 people) .... if its a celebration (birthday, engagement, retirement some places will even give some food - chicken wings/chips/sausage rolls/cocktail sausages etc)

most bars with enough space would be glad of the extra custom.

Bia Bar is a nice venue and you can book an area. Food is nice too.
