have been signing for credits for the past 10 months now,is there a time frame where you are re-assessed [means test] and maybe awarded some sort of payment ? my wife income was 15 euros over ''threshold'' so was ''entitled '' to no payment.

If your means have changed, I'm sure you can request a reassessment.

thanks for replying Xiney, circumstances to be changing in couple of months, 1st baby on the way all going well....my wife is classed as self employed so she will be off on maternity thing getting 200-250 a week....when i was assessed her income was 15 euros over ''threshold '' for me to get anything. when she will be below threshold do you think i'll be able to put in a new claim ? assuming i can't get any work in the meantime

You should be able to, yes. Also you should apply for Family Income Supplement once the baby is born.

Ah, sorry, forgot the FIS isn't available if you're on JSA. But it's for families on low pay.
