Hey all, Having a problem with a ps3 hope you guys can help.

I have a 40gb ps3, I have no media(music, vids or data) on the hardrive.
I only have some game info.
Just bought brothers in arms and I am getting this message up.

There is not enough free space on the hard disk.
At least 2426 mb more of free space is needed.

This is after i have deleted all the game data i dont want plus the free downlad games i dont need anymore.
I have left myself with only some memory from the games i regularly play.

I cannot beleive my hard disk is full already.....

Where in the settings can i check the space and does this sound normal.

    Thanks, John.:)

over to the left > settings > system settings, i think it should be in there

Are you sure you have cleaned up your game data utility folder as thats the only place i can think of that takes up space.

This issue occurs with some games. All you need to do is put something, anything onto the HDD that is bigger than 2.5 gigs and delete it, then load up the game again.

Or delete something already on the HDD that is that size that you [a] don't want anymore or can put back after.

I am not sure what causes it but it has happened with a number of games I own. Most recently it was Prototype I think.
