    Hey Guys
I was wondering if anyone could suggest a good long haul holiday for Nov-Dec

I was looking for somewhere with long days (loads of sun)

I was thinking around South Africa, but i have 3 weeks to take would 3 weeks be too long there, or would anyone be able to suggest somewhere close to visit for a week or so too?

If anyone has any other ideas please share i would be extremely grateful

Plus anyone else know any other British travel agents and site like markstravel.co.uk the prices are so much better than the Irish companies

    Thanks again

Three weeks definitely wouldn't be too long in South Africa, there is just so much to see and do. Beach, City Breaks, Hiking, Safari, the list goes on and on.

You can definitely easily spend 3 weeks in South Africa at that time of year: A week in Cape Town, up to a week on safari, a week doing something like the Garden Route/Wild Coast/Drakensberg for example. You could also consider a trip to Victoria Falls or Mauritius as part of the trip.

I would suggest making your own arrangements to be more flexible - hire a car or take internal flights to get around. Just be aware that from mid December the schools have their summer holidays and it gets very busy, especially Kruger and Cape Town, so if you will be in SA then you need to make advance bookings.

Kruger normally is the hardest to book, so if that interests you I would check out availability there first and build around that. To avoid paying through the nose at posh guided tour places, do a self drive and stay in the national park accommodation. Have a look here: http://www.sanparks.org.za/parks/kruger/tourism/availability.php

There is such a myriad of things to do that I'll leave it at that at the moment, but if you have specific questions please ask.
