    What is ITV up to??

I watched Agatha Christie last night and HD was no better that SD! It was totally apalling! The only way I could tell the difference is because there were no subtitles on HD - only on SD!!

when are they ever going to provide a proper service?

I think it was meant to look that way - shot with handheld cameras and with grain for extra realism.

I imagine we wont be seeing a proper service until they start simulcasting ITV1 which will no doubt be mainly upscaled programming.

What would be nice is if they started to broadcast audio in 5.1 when available.

Well I hope they get the lip-sync right as well, that also seems to be a problem lately!
