    Hi

My 04 Almera as been mangled - looks like a write-off to me but waiting on assessor.
Any suggestions of what I should be getting as a replacement (other than another 04 Almera).

Looking for a similar size and shape (1.5 Saloon) - lees than 50,000 miles.

Focus Saloon, Mazda 3 saloon would be the nicest ones really. The 3 saloon is a minimum of a 1.6 but make sure you don't get the 1.4 Focus. Just a bit weak powerwise. Cash is king at the moment so you might do well out of this if you get a decent settlement

    Cheers - 1.6 Focus?

Never considered a Mazda 3 before but I will be checking them out.

Almera is nearly one of the few cars that are a 1.5. They other saloon at that size would be a subaru Impreza like this one.

Other than that its either a 1.4 like a toyota corolla (good on fuel) or 1.6 upwards. Hope this helps
