KNX Systems (Finding Employment)

I am currently doing a 12 week course based on KNX systems. I notice from the KNX website that the guys who sat the previous course to the one I'm on now are still unemployed.
Is there anyone who has experience working with these systems and knows where would be a good place to start looking for employment in this area in Ireland?
    Thanks in advance!

Three of the biggest jobs in the country are currently been done using knx, the convention centre Dublin, Lansdown Road and Dublin Airport.
Rockbrook Automation are commisining the first two. might be worth dropping in a CV if your finished the course. Not sure how much joy you'll get without relevant experience!

Thanks DR Kelly. I'll finish the course in Oct so I'll drop them a line and of course my CV then. Like you said without relevant experience it seems douthful but I can only give it my best shot.
Do you work in automation yourself? Its something I really wanna get in to and I have 2 heads about starting electronic eng in Tallaght IT part time. What do you think would be a good step?

Well i'm a qualified Electrician and i've also done the knx certification course but mine was only 1 week long. I'd imagine in Fas the course would intale installation aswell as Ets programming? I have some work related experience and things are going steadily at the minute, as for advising you as to your next step into automation... i wouldn't really be qualified in that department!!

The fas course is split in 2 sections. The first 6 weeks is working with electronics and programming logic circuts which was a bit of a head melter but I'm sure its handy to have.
The second is 6 weeks is like you said working with ETS and gaining knowledge of the system although it is kind of dragged out. We're just given small excersices to do and theres always problems with different people throughout the class. I suppose thats a good way of learning.

I would imagine the most important part is getting the experience. I am supposed to be wiring someones house in stillorgan in a couple of months and I'm gonna try to convince him to put and automation system in. Probably Tebis.

Any thanks for the reply and maybe we'll work together one day!
