silver flat bar?

    Hello,

    I am looking for silver flat bars, with a 26mm... um, middle fat bit.

    Anyone know if anyone has them in stock? Been to Cycleways, Cyclogical, and City Cycles (lots of C's in there) but they dont have what I'm looking for.

    Oh yeah I was at Halford's in Blanch too, but I'm sort of embarassed/ashamed to say it.

    I have a set of silver 40cm drop bars which may or may not be suitable after some sawing. You are welcome to them for nothing. I'll measure the diameter this evening if you are interested, and if I don't forget.

    this guy on ebay is great for bits and bobs like that and does lovely quill stems but he's on holiday at the moment

    I have a silver flat bar somewhere. It's either at home or in my office. I'll let you know tomorrow, I'm not sure of the size but if it fits you're welcome to it.

    You could always use a 25.4mm bar with a shim if you're having trouble finding a 26.0.

    Thanks all for the offers, much appreciated,
    but i was riding today with the bars I have on at the moment, and even though they're ugly as sin, they're quite comfortable, the slight curve of them suits me, so I think I'm going to stick with them, substance over style and all that.
    I'll slap some nice bar tape or grips on them to pretty them up.
