Any of the fishing tackle shops or gun shops will stock good quality boots rather than cheapo wellies. Stick with the likes of Aigle or Le Chameau and keep away from Hunter.

Courtlough in North Dublin may be worth a look. Why don't you recommend hunters pullandbang?

I just bought my wife the Balmoral classic for her birthday. Best wellie I have seen, I will buy myself a pair too, once pay day rolls around again.
Phone 01-8428922 ask for Norman, he'll post them out to your house. Great service.

They are too soft and the rubber will puncture as soon as you hit the first thorn.

Have to agree about the Balmoral hunters great boots. I bought a pair at the fair in Ballinlough. Before that I had a pair of Galloway hunter for about 2 years without a problem. The ordinary hunter boots are more for the horsey set or music festival goer I think. But they do ranges that are for fieldsports.
Shame they dont do waders anymore Streamfishers were great.

Go the extra mile & get the leather lined Aigle. I have had a pair for about 7 years & they are still as good as new, a lot of use but not abuse! Very comfortable to wear all day.
