Thinking of New Product

    Hi All,

Just wanted to run something by you potential brides/grooms. I am looking at stocking a new product it is basically a 6 meter telescopic pole with streamers at the top in pretty much any colour you want. These are simple devices and really good quality and would be great for when the bride is leaving the house then moved to the outside of the church and then on to the hotel. I will be doing them in a package and will be looking at a price or around €90 - €100 for three sets of them. They could then possibly be sold on afterwards.

I saw them yesterday and thought they were fantastic something really different but also so simple. Would you think this is something I should stock and something that brides would be interested in?

    Regards
    Tony

I personally think they look a bit tacky to be honest. I also think that having to lug them around from house to church then onto hotel would be a lot of hassle for a few ribbons.

Didn't mean to total shut your idea down Tony, and maybe its just me, Im not into the big wedding hooley anyway to be honest, I plan on legging it to Vegas,so perhaps Im not the ideal person to listen to! So see what others think!

    Hi Tony,

It's not something that I personally would be interested in either. It just seems like an unneccessary hassle and expense for not much benefit and there's no tradition associated with it. But then, I'm not interested in a big wedding either.

Having said that, if you got a few of the right people interested I could see it becoming a trend.

Sorry Tony, but they dont seem to have any point to them? In no way associated to a wedding.

Would be a no from me too Im afraid!

I would have to agree to be honest, I would most likely end up trying to photo shop them out if they were in my shot to be honest. I think they would be more suited to hotel entrances possibly but not the house and church.

And how do you stand them up??

Nah ... not a big fan tbh!

Might be nice outside a wedding marquee.

This feedback is great thanks a lot, perfect place for market research. Ideally they may be suited to a marquee but I think based on the feedback its going to be a big no from me.

    Thanks again to all.
