I rang sky tonight. Said i wanted to come back to sky, he said if you are away more than 12 months then you are a new customer(again). I said i want Sky +hd in one room and normal sky in another. He said if i take a premium pack for one month it would cost me 24 euro for the hd+ and the total price would be 38 euro a month. Does not sound right. Any views?
I said i only wanted 4 mixes. I.e No sports or movies and only four mixes. I need to take a premium mix for a month to get the box half price.

You sure he didn't say 48?

    Looking at Sky website

    Monthly Channel Subscription : €27.50
Due to VAT change from 1/1/10 Sky TV packages increase by €1 or by €1.50 if you have both Sky Movies & Sky Sports Packs. HD pack and Multiroom prices increase by 25c a month.
    HD Pack : €14.75
    Sky+ Subscription : FREE
    Multiroom Subscription : €7.37

    TOTAL MONTHLY COST : €49.62

Are they charging you for the box? I have a voucher for free box and installation if it's any good to you I got two but I've already got someone to sign up so you're welcome to the second one. You just need to quote a reference and give my details to get the deal.

It's not. You will get the Discovery and National Geographic HD channels with the HD subscription but not the rest of the knowledge pack.
