Tubridy - Late Late - Poor

I keep seeing how good Ryan Tubridy was presenting the Late Late Show Last Night; Newspapers, Tv, Internet.

In My Opinion he was very poor.

Firstly he just took his own show & moved it to Friday night. The Band, Going up into the audience etc. He just has different guests.

I thought his Brian Cowen interview was very poor. It was such an easy target. ANYONE could have asked the questions he asked they werent powerful questions they were obvious.

He just used Cowen as an easy target to try & be viewed as a hard hitting interviewer. The interview had no structure and he quickly moved from topic to topic.

OK there is the lets give him a chance argument, first show and all that, He has been interviewing people for ages.

Back to the Sat night show please Ryan your ok at that. Your a far cry from Gay Byrnes Late Late.

I'm of no political party. Just saying it was an easy target. Post is about Tubridy just using that as an example. Dont care so much about FF or Cowen in this context.

The Late Late is an out-dated format which should be binned. Whichever personality-less schmuck they get to present it, it will still be mediocre at best.

Shure Tubridy is an FF'er himself. His brother ran for local council as a Fianna Fail candidate ffs.

I do agree with what the original poster said, however I am biased in that I absolutely hate the bastard. OP, you should read Jody Corcoran in the Indo. http://www.independent.ie/national-news/if-tubridy-wanted-to-get-personal-he-should-have-asked-questions-like-a-man-1879538.html

He was very nervous. His hands were shaking. It was ok. Nothing special.

I really hate that smug band. Someone and their quartet. I thought he might have dropped them but no!

Has he declared how he voted? Otherwise you are just guessing
Because the party his brother has chosen means nothing realy.

    Secret ballot.....

    From Wiki:

"He was a member of the Kevin Barry Cumann of Fianna Fáil while in UCD and was active in the UCD Students' Union, as well as the Dun Laoghaire branch of Ógra Fianna Fáil. Two of his maternal uncles, Niall Andrews and David Andrews, served as Fianna Fáil TDs, with the latter serving as Minister for Foreign Affairs under Taoiseach Albert Reynolds. Two of his first cousins, Barry Andrews and Chris Andrews, currently serve as Fianna Fáil TDs, with the former Minister of State for Children in the government of Brian Cowen. His grandfather, Todd Andrews, was a prominent associate of Fianna Fáil founder Éamon de Valera and held a number of posts in semi-state companies."

Looking at the subject with any objectivity, I dont think he's a blueshirt.
