    hi,
i have sky+ and have it set up in 3 rooms usung magic eyes.
i would like to replace my sky+ box with a freeview type set up,that can recieve and record bbc channels and channel 4 and itv channels.
if i cancel sky,is my sky+ box useless to me?
can i just exchange it for a freeview box?

    thanks?

If you cancel Sky, you'll still be able to use the Sky+ box to watch FTA channels.

However, you will not be able to make use of the recording features and that includes playback of existing recordings.

If you take away your Sky+ box, you also have to take into consideration the magic eye system you currently have (for example the Freesat Foxsat HDR has no integrated RF modulator for distribution purposes).
