Im not sure if this question breaches forum rules or whether anyone with this info is allowed to talk about it.

Im just curious as to who deals to the DF, Id say it is a tasty tender to get.

Is there any Irish Arms dealers in operation?

The standard issue rifle is the Steyr AUG 5.56mm rifle, its Austrian made. Before that they used the Belgian made FN rifle.

They recently changed from the BAP (Browning Automatic Pistol) to the Heckler & Koch USP 9mm as a sidearm. They're German.

You make it sound so shady. I'm sure the Gov't/DF buys weapons from the weapons and ammo manufacturers themselves. There's no "Dealers"

It's a valid question. Not all government agencies around the world buy straight from the manufacturer.

Its off to capel street with ya! I know all about last minute panic buying for trips overseas/courses etc. I used to work in Millets and OAS :pac:

The fights between lads over the last drybag/mapcase/silva/sealskinz could be priceless!
