If you get a new car and change over your insurance permanently do Quinn charge you? The car is smaller than the current car which is dead.

I've done a couple of quotes on their website with similiar cars to mine and there was no additional premium. I'm guessing it depends on lots of factors, are you registered on the website?

I am registered on their website. I asked for a email of my password and they sent me a blank email. :(

What has happened is my old car is fecked, engine seized so I bought another smaller car.

Will be an additional premium if higher value or different spec such as a higher cc engine.

    I understand that.

Is there an admin charge otherwise where a lesser sized car is to be insured.
I recall people getting charged €50 odd for temp substitutions.

It really depends on a number of factors including the value of both cars and I'm sure Quinn will have an admin charge too

To confirm: you are not using an email client, but that you're checking the email at the email website (eg: gmail.com, etc). I ask as a few "blank emails" I've gotten in the past was because the client didn't handle the email correctly.

This usually only applies where the temporary substitution is to a bigger or higher spec car. If its about the same, or smaller there shouldnt be any cost.

    There is no admin charge.

I have been with QD for the last number of years and have never be charged any admin charges for temp or permanent changes (and I've done loads).

    No.

Mail is in OE6. The email says "Your password is "

    It is blank.

I changed over my insurance with Quinn on the 1st of this month from a 1.8 petrol worth about 2k to a 2.0 diesel worth about 12k and i had to pay 35 euros. Their phone operator said that it was due to the higher value of the new car so you may have to pay something depending on what your car is

    Lower value car. Going from a 1.4 escort to a 1.1 P106.

    Odd. Unless it's a picture which OE6 is blocking, I don't know.
