Hi all, just wondering if anyone knows good products that have a fast turnover,I have plenty of floor space in one half of the warehouse, the other half i build timber swingsets, but i need faster turnover, now that winter is approaching, and the swingset market is slowing down,

Could you rent your spaces out to people or new businesses starting up ? You should probably go to your local enterprise board, find the lads setting up new businesses and give them a good deal on storage space, I could see this working.

You post on here every few weeks with the same question.
A warehouse is only a tiny part of a business, so no matter what product you get, you still have all the other more important things to worry about, sales, marketing, customer service.
You have an asset a warehouse, don't try and build a business around just having a warehouse.
As above renting out the space to another business is the only easy way to make money.
Stick an ad up on daft, contact local enterprise board, chamber of commerce ask is anyone looking for space.

why not build......sheds for the winter, you can keep the same timber supplier that supplies you already, you can and have the hability to do it.and you can use the cut offs to build swings in the summer, and even market this by putting a small ad on every shed.
    what do you think?
    partners?

Yeah, a bit like the 'broken record'? OP, why not try and expand your product range based on your skill sets, resources and manufacturing capabilities? Ideally try and add non seasonal products but perhaps still within the broader product category ie ...Outdoor, DIY etc Garden sheds is probably a saturated market, margins are squeezed and competition from home and overseas suppliers is intense.

Alternatively you could look for new products in new markets based around what you can do ie basic timber fabrication/assembly? Renting is probably a low return and hardly worth the hassle?

Agree with Pat above. Find customer demand but for something that leverages skills, assets and value of the swingset operation. 20-30% of commercial property is vacant I believe so don't be driven by the warehouse issue

I have a (semi-qualifed)product idea for you that I believe will work even in these times. PM sent...
