6 days to go before we go home to get married. We just want to have a bit of craic, not going to anything to serious or pretentious - we just want good time and have everyone without having to resort to Abba, Come on Eileen or Sweet Caroline!

I got the entrance music - O Fortuna for the bridal party and then kicking in with the Irish Rover for us.

I got the first dance sorted - Heart Alone (first slow set 17 years ago as kids)

So heres the rub - We got a band and a DJ. The band will do their own thing but I need a list of songs that I want the DJ to play.

Would appricate yer suggestions for each category.

    Irish
e.g. Galway Girl, Van Morrison etc

    Classics
e.g. Johnny Cash, The Specials, James Brown

    Modern
e.g. Killers, Kings of Leon, Gaga, Guetta

    Classic Dance
e.g. Beach Ball, Professional Widow, Black & Gold

The more suggestions the better please!

A bit of Thin Lizzy for the Irish and you have to have Journey Dont stop believing in there too, suits every age group

As recommended on another forum, check out this list http://www.mobilebeat.com/top-200/ it gives a good range of songs and can be a good base point to start from.

I've copied this list into an excell sheet and have just added and removed songs which I like more or less.
