    hi. im thinking about installing solar panels. i was just wondering does the domestic hot and cold water have to be pressurised in order to have solar panels????

    Hi,

    No you don't have to pressurise the existing plumbing system.

    A typical solar system operates through either a second coil in the cylinder or a heat exchanger like a Willis Solar Syphon.

    The solar system is pressurised however it is a seperate loop and should not have any effect on the existing plumbing system.
