hi, i'm struggling to even find a dealer at the moment to look at my van as i need to change it for a car for family reasons. I know im going to have to take a big hit on it but its 08 and spottless. i guess what i'm asking is those of you that have faced this problem am i as well of to head to an auction or anyone know of a dealer that might be more open to taking a van as a trade? Thanks in advance and i hope ive posted in the correct place as you can see this is my first

Businesses see a van like you and me see a TV, the only way you'll buy one that's a year old is if it's massively cheaper than buying a brand new one with a warranty. Add to that the stock of unused brand new unregistered vans out there, and you have a problem.

There's no painless way out it it. ring around as many dealers as you can and hope for the best.

What is it and how much?

Did you try and sell it privately?

You do understand you will take a serious hit on it but you can also replace it cheaply.

Might be an idea to post up the model and mileage here to get a few opinions.

that puts you at even more of a disadvantage (21.5% more to be exact) you're ruling out any VAT registered customer buying the van.

    To put it into perspective

you can get a new Berlingo for €10k plus VAT. someone in business only saves €2k by buying your van.

I'm afraid the value is even lower than 7 or 8.
