    hey,
can anyone recommend me a good film thats newish,im realy looking for a horror or war movie
    thanks:)

If it's not classed as too old (and you've not seen it) [REC] is a fantastic recent horror film.

Made two friends watch it last night and had a blast, especially the end.

As for war, i've been hearing that The Hurt Locker is good. Don't know myself though.

[REC] is fantastic, the last 10 mins are unbelievably tense

Why not kill two birds with one stone and watch a horror based war film. Death Watch, The Outpost, The Guardpost and R-Point are all rather good horror fims set during wars. Well some are set during actual conflict but all are about soldiers.
