buying a cross trainer

Hi, I have decided to buy a cross trainer as I hate the gym and I am not very motivated when it comes to running as I live in the city.

    Does anyone have any advice?

Obviously I want a good one but I would rather get a good deal.

I have done a little research and it seems I have to decide whether I want one with the wheel at the front or the back. I think I want one with the wheel at the front even though they are more expensive.

I have looked on the buy and sell but reluctant to buy a second hand one - not sure -

Has anyone bought one for home use? Any advice much appreciated.
