Seems to be the trend on all forecast models, a nice long break from the rain and wind, starting on Wednesday, but first Connacht faces a rather strong wind event on Monday night into Tuesday, somebody should start a thread about that on Sunday if it's still on the charts after the 06z run. Current model maps for the period indicate force 11-12 winds over the Atlantic and possible gusts to 80 mph in western Galway and Mayo into Donegal. It would not be that severe elsewhere on these maps.

"happy"! ...are you kidding?... this is the fastest friendly response unit ever so ~~ tyvm [thank you very much]

officially ecstatic after that, thanks so much, both for the welcome and for the affirmation that stuff can be pretty. 'Pretty, too', or, far more frivolously, ...'pretty'. :p <---- even that emoticon is kinda cute (not generally a fan of flappy tongues ... pretty bad etiquette, in polite company  )

The New Zealand guy reckons our 10-day summer is on the way.

Still looking good, the girl on the BBC forcast nearly had an orgasm as she displayed the massive high pressure building behind her.

He was pretty much spot on:

SEPTEMBER, likely to be the warmest and most summery month for all, with best of summer weather between 6th-17th for the whole country.

Seeing as rather negative posts about the weather are commonplace this summer, I'm going to say that this dry weather is a great way to start end our summer. It made such a welcome change, and even if it's not warm, that means less lawn to cut!

Bump! A hopeful high pressure building from the south late next week, could give us a decent spell of mild weather.
