    Hi

Just got an octavia recently. 01 AMBIENTE 1.9TDI fairly standard car. Just wondering what the BHP is? I'm used to driving a 130BHP A4 and this octavia isn't too far off so I'd be surprised if it was the 90BHP at a guess 100BHP?

    What is it?

Do Skodas have the same TDI, TDI and TDI thing that VW and Audi do?
If so Id imagine yours would have to be the TDI so 105 to 115 bhp range.

It will also easily beat all cars on the road.
Most likely on par with ferraris.

    Diesel Ferrari's are over rated

I think the Mark 1 octavia was a 90bhp engine and the mark2 was 105bhp?
    Could be wrong of course.

And as a previous poster said, the car manual or service schedual may have a large sticker with the car info including is power output in KWs

Google will give you a coversion easily enough

I think you'll find the power output on the driver's door as well (or near it)
