    Hi Guys...
I just moved into a new 'oldish' house and i was wondering about freshening up the room a bit. Ive never had any plants or anything but i like some fresh herbs with my dinner...

Any idea's of a nice fresh smelling herb i could maybe grow in a little tub on the window sill?

    Thanks
    John

Basil, thyme, coriander, mint... just about anything you fancy really.

Thyme is particularly fragrant. A sprig of rosemary in a low oven makes a house smell fabulous.

I'll try pick up some next time im in Aldi if they have it...
Then bang it in a jam jar on the inside of my window sill.
Hopefully there'll be enough light for it to grow...

    Thanks guys
    John
