    I was just wondering would anyone have any ideas for places to go snowboarding by oneself!:confused:

    If your going by yourself your probably best off going for a "Camp" type holiday, that way at least you can meet people every day and socialize in the evenings.

    if you stay in a Chalet you also have a much better chance of meeting people

    i stayed in a french youth hostel on my own last xmas and it was great..its full board so no cooking!..its a big friendly communal stuly breakfast and dinner everybody heads out riding i was never stuck for sum1 to go with..i was snowboarding with french,english,aussies,brazilian..

    id highly recommend it the hostel i stayed at was in seez near les arcs great food..got kerry-grenoble flight train to bourg..hitched a ride back to grenoble..im doin a solo trip r 2 again this winter..mite stay in tignes r les 2 alps..

    Its a bit early in the season but it is Val Thorens which is a very high resort so should have decent enough snow.

    Do some research on the net, find some small resorts, you will find a number of places around europe where serious snowboarders go but not so many tourists, probably the best place to meet other like minded snowboarders.
