website advice

hey folks
just wondering what you guys think of my website set up
its a cheapy one and i'm no wizard on PC's so any help or comments good or bad as i'd like it looking some what professional

i'll probably get an ear bashin of the web design freaks but still i need advice

First you need to get a WWW domain, not a sublink to the hosting package and builder from vistaprint. I will not give you a bashin from the web design hat on, as by mentioning such you know it could be alot better.

Will it work ? To a degree yes but only in a limited way, if you are looking for the website to rank well in Google, then it will not well due to the "hosting" setup and sub-domain.

There are many web designers on the Boards here who I am sure will kindly help you out without breaking the bank. Business members here will point out the same things as the web designers with regarding the website as it is your virtual office / retail unit, could help drive extra business / sales ..

Please note with Website Builders like the one from Vistaprint (good for biz cards but not websites ..) is that once you change "Hosting" or cancel the subscription with them, you will lose your website as its built into their package / host / builder.. Just be careful.

The web design is grand, you really should get a .ie domain though and get some basic SEO work done yourself and you'l be set

Consider taking off the autoglym logo (or putting it right on the bottom), it might not be in keeping with the other graphics. Id also get a nice classic car in the photo at the bottom

design is bad and content is bad.

Design domain name .com €8 per year, hosting €50 per year.
Template brochure site (look great) €200 one off cost ask over on adverts.

Content
No contact details or phone number or any business information, look like a cowboy.
Explain what the process is, we wash, clay,polish, wax car.
How long it will take and how much it costs.
Can you do it outside peoples house.

* Selling your car, make it stand out from the crowd with our showroom detail.
* Make your car look like new
* How many times have you washed/waxed your car and the paint still looks dull. (this is because dirt builds up in the paint, a details will x,y,z)
* had a minor accident and need to remove scratches marks from your car
* Garage car washes left your car with swirl marks.

Have a bronse, silver and gold package.

Fathers day specials, birthdays etc..
