Sky+ Remote Record App

    Hi

I have a Sky+ box & iPod Touch (2nd Gen) to which I've downloaded the free Sky+ Remote Record app.

So my question. Where are the Irish channels? Does anybody know? They are not listed when you start the app. All Irish channels are listed on my Sky+ guide. And my Sky+ box is registered to use remote record.

Or is this app purely aimed at UK residents only. My understanding from the reviews of the app on the App Store is that people in the ROI have successfully used this app (though I'm assuming with respect to foreign channels).

    Thanks - laoisfan

I don't think there is an Irish version yet, that is why you see the UK EPG on the app.

Mine works! I have it on my iPhone and I can see the irish channel line up, RTE, etc.
I remember having trouble with the regular web version, and eventually worked out that I had to change my regional settings to "Eire" or something like that. Then I could see RTE1 at 101, RTE2 at 102, etc. I don't think I had to do anything on the phone though, it just worked.

where did you change the region? Sky+ box or your online MySky profile? thanks!

It works on my wife's iPhone too. I set the region up on the web on mysky and it was seamless when I logged on using the iPhone app.
